My favorite 10 TVD moments

First is when Elena turns off her humanity. Season 4,episode "Stand by me"

"There's nothing here for me anymore, Stefan. Every inch of this house is filled with memories of the people that I love that have died-- my mom, my dad, Jeremy, and Jenna and Alaric, John, even John. I mean, they're all dead. Everyone is dead."

Second is when Katherine tries to kill Elena. Season 4,episode "Graduation"
"I never had a graduation.Or a prom,or you know,a life. But you did.You have everything and it's not because you're a good little girl who deserves happiness,it's because you stole mine."

Third is when Elena gets her humanity back. 4x21 "Find that one thing inside you that makes you wanna live."

Fourth is when Damon and Elena dance in season 4,episode "The Five"

6. 6x13 "Somehow I always find my way back to you"

8. When Elena is done grieving Damon and she wants to let him go. 6x1, "I'll remember"

9. When Elena is saying goodbye and Damon is listening but she can't see him. 5x22

Elena: “You lied to me.”
Damon: “Even if I wanted to apologize,you couldn’t hear me. So I won’t.”
Elena: “Please don’t leave me.”
Damon: “I don’t have a choice, baby. You are by far the greatest thing that ever happened to me in my 173 years on this earth. But I get to die knowing that I was loved not just by anyone. By you, Elena Gilbert. It is the epitome of a fulfilled life. It’s never gonna get any better than this. I peaked. I love you, Elena.”
Elena: “Please…please come back to me.”
Damon: “Bye.”

10.When Damon tells Elena he loves her and then compels her to forget that.

"I just need to say it once. You just need to hear it. I love you, Elena. And it's because I love you, that I can't be selfish with you. Why you can't know this. I don't deserve you... but my brother does. God, I wish you didn't have to forget this... but you do."
